Welcome to my redesigned site! It’s done as a responsive web site thanks to WordPress and a responsive design theme courtesy of Theme Horse.
My main reason for the redesign was the need to allow for better viewing on mobile devices and to update the look. But working with WordPress has also saved me considerable HTML hand coding while still providing plenty of creative design choices as well as access to some nifty plug-in features (see my Interests page to view a slide show of hiking pictures).
